Half a thousand miles is a video I made over a four day fall break with my friends documenting our adventures and memories. We drove from Duke to Asheville, where we hiked, played board games, made pies and apple cider, cooked together, swam, and so much more.
Almost all of the footage I took was intentionally candid in order to authentically capture our memories and experiences as they were happening. I was even told after I sent the video to my friends that they didn't even realize I was filming. While trying to balance getting good shots with capturing candid shots was challenging at times, I'm really happy with how the final product turned out.
